The Scott County School Nutrition Program provides equal access to a nutritious meal for all students.

The meals are prepared by employees governed by standards developed by federal, state, and local agencies.  This department oversees the free and reduced meal program and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.  The School Nutrition program is a federally operated program and is self-sufficient, with meal prices covering the cost to operate the program.  Scott County’s Food Service manages breakfast and lunches for all seven county schools.  We have two Central Office staff members and approximately 40 employees around the county.
